Linnemann defends long-term care bill and announces revisions
Open post in TelegramHealth Minister Carsten Linnemann defended the bill to stabilize long-term care insurance in the Bundestag and announced revisions. Linnemann said that without the bill, Germany’s statutory long-term care insurance would face a deficit of about eight billion euros next year.
The proposal would raise the contribution surcharge for people without children and increase the income ceiling for contributions by 300 euros.
