Weir test lowers water levels in Leipzig

A functional test at the Palmengartenwehr is lowering water levels in several Leipzig waterways. Testing continues until Friday.

Use of the affected waterways is temporarily prohibited throughout Leipzig because stronger currents may occur.

Water levels are expected to start rising again from November 6 after testing ends. The waterways are expected to return to their original levels by the evening of November 8.
