Many DVB trams and buses run without advertising

Only two of DVB’s 33 new trams carry advertising. Among older trams, 58 of 155 carry advertising. Just 23 of 153 buses carry advertising.

Advertising revenue was about €1 million in both 2019 and 2025. A DVB spokesperson attributed the situation to a weak advertising market and existing contracts with Ströer.
