Hanover customs finds cannabis seedlings in parcel from Austria

Customs officers in Hanover found three cannabis seedlings in a parcel from Austria on November 3. The parcel was intended for a man in Hanover.

The seedlings already qualify as cannabis plants and remain subject to an import ban despite the Cannabis Act taking effect. Criminal proceedings were initiated, according to customs spokesperson Joline Kassner.
