Stuttgart mayor does not rule out banning further Gen Z protests

Stuttgart Mayor Frank Nopper (CDU) says restrictions, including a ban, must be considered if cooperation is lacking before future Gen Z gatherings.

Police estimated around 6000 people attended Stuttgart’s largely peaceful demonstration, while organisers reported about 12,000. Police recorded around 50 offences. Seven emergency personnel were injured, according to the city.

The “Gen Z regelt” initiative announced further protests, including on 20 November.
