Police operation after fireworks thrown at people in Wolfsburg

Teenagers deliberately threw fireworks at people in Wolfsburg on October 31, 2026. Rockets were fired at groups that included small children.

Police checked around 120 people, and 56 children present were handed over to their parents or guardians. Police said no one was known to have been injured.

Criminal proceedings were opened against several people on suspicion of a particularly serious breach of the peace and explosives law violations.
