Open post in TelegramThe foundation stone for a new electrical engineering vocational school was laid on Monday on Dresden’s Boxberger Straße. The project will cost €102 million. EU funding covers over three quarters, with the city financing the rest through its subsidiary Kommunale Immobilien (KID).
From spring 2029, up to 2,250 students are expected to study there as future workers for the chip factories. A full microtechnology training programme is also planned in English.
