Braunschweig police directorate records 655 operations overnight

Braunschweig police recorded 655 operations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday. These included routine police work and Halloween-related incidents.

In Wolfsburg’s Westhagen district, around 120 children and teenagers fired pyrotechnics at bystanders and also attacked police with them. No one was injured there.

In Salzgitter, at least 20 people forced their way into vocational school premises and started a fire inside with a Molotov cocktail.
